we’ve launched!
February 22, 2025
Thanks for supporting our project, folks. This is a group-centric project vs a one man show like many of the front-end operations on SeeTheStorm.net are. A few house-keeping items in no particular order:
1- Expect lots of streams. Pretty much any and everything to do with this project will be streamed or updated upon, whether it's building, coding, or going to Home Depot for supplies. Storm chasing streams will always be simulcast on all platforms, as they have been: Facebook, YouTube, X. However, we've added Twitch into the mix. ONLY Project WeatherEye content will be streamed there. If it's a storm chase where we expect to deploy WeatherEye, we'll simulcast to Twitch, but for now, if it's not related to Project WxEye, then it's not on Twitch. WxEye streams will still be simulcast on Facebook, YouTube, and X. This is just a method for those who only care about WxEye to have a platform where they aren't spammed with notifications on other things.
2- The Amazon list was BOUGHT UP yesterday: thank you! With your help, I have the supplies to build 1 testing prototype of our rapid deployment hardware concept. I've put a new round of supplies in there.
3- We'll begin some time in the next few days with a live stream explaining our concepts. You'll likely see new faces on some of the streams, also, from time to time, as some "friends and family" build along with us.
4- Don't forget, we have an ADDITIONAL X account now: @stsweathereye , go follow that!
5- You can subscribe to this blog. Expect updates frequently. You'll get an email when a new post is up. If this becomes annoying, let us know. We can switch to daily notifications, but it's a global setting.
6- FINALLY: I've gotten super creative by putting a text box with our website on a shirt! You can buy these incredibly boring and minimalistic shirts on our store. Links on the homepage of this site. (They're not that bad)
